Ba-Rang-Digar is the collection of the author’s poetry up to its publication in 2010. It opens into poems (nazams), the authors favorite form for poetry. After 230 subjects and 267 pages, the section on gazals starts. Eighty two gazals and 130 pages later there is a section on quatrain and abyat (couplets) comprising of more than 100 pages. The uniqueness of poetry is found in the topics of poems and the style of presentation which is a combination of classical and modern. In some of poems one can see the influence of western poetry. Amir’s first poem composed in fifth grade was in English. If one is interested to read something new and not the same old, same old, then this book will open a new horizon.
